I mentioned in an earlier post that I recently got a DJI Mavic Pro. These are two shots that I have been waiting desperately for in order to get the best result. The first one is based off a buddy’s wallpaper. I saw it on his computer and wanted to do my own version. I am very happy on how the skyline of Atlantic City turned out. Only change I would have made is gone closer to the (old) Atlantic Club in order to capture Harrah’s better. The second photo is more or less to capture the whole point in Longport to act as a “re-do” for my last one that I posted. I am much happier with this one as it captures the sunset perfectly.
On September 23rd and 24th, I attended the seventh annual South Jersey Wine and Food Festival that took place on shore of Lake Lenape in Mays Landing, New Jersey. If you’re familiar with my work, I have helped out with the event in year’s past with different aspects. This past year was the first year I attended as just a guest. I decided to use this opportunity to work on my photography and photo editing skills. I still have plenty to learn and improve on. Regardless, I am ecstatic with the results. Check out photos from both days.
Feel free to use any photo, but I ask that you share where you use the photos.
I recently got a DJI Mavic Pro for videography purposes. It is a great device and has turned out to be more incredible than I had imagined. A bit difficult to learn the controls fluidly along with all the controls, but I did get the shots I wanted. I must admit, I did not expect develop a new hobby. Drone photography is so neat in the sense that I have an idea of a shot I want, but never know what exactly I am going to get. It makes every photo a fun, unique gift. I am still getting the hang of editing them, but here are all the shots I have so far.
My friend and I created Jet Lag Addict together. He wanted to create a site to help him. I wanted to practice my skills. He came up with the name. The moment I heard it, I started working on logo designs and mocked them out. I came up with this after combining keywords and relating them together.
I combined the idea of a globe, plane, and clock. The reasoning behind it is that jet lag only works when you’re on a plane and it revolves around the clock and the planet. The colors are meant to exude elegance and affluence.
